We are looking for a Parts Department Assistant in our Salt Lake City, UT location.

Responsibilities:

• This position requires working in a warehouse atmosphere, picking and packing parts, receiving/shipping, fulfilling call in or walk-in orders, coordinating with customers, inventory counts, and making sure the warehouse is a safe and clean environment.
• Oversee the day-to-day shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
• Receive, count, and inspect parts & materials for stock & Job orders to ensure accurate quantity and quality.
• Assist in obtaining and preparing parts quotes, process purchase requisitions and purchase orders in a timely manner.
• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Collaborate with the service department on parts request.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to see tasks through
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills both in-person and over the phone
• Prompt, courteous, & Enthusiastic personality with a team player attitude
• Computer literate and ability to use software for a parts Inventory and Purchasing.
• Ability to stand, sit and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
• Current Forklift certification or the ability to obtain one through company sponsored course
